We’re excited to have SEO maven Wil Reynolds present about the integration of social media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), at the next Philly Net Tuesday on October 2.  Doors open at 6:00 PM at the Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street.  (Or follow the live Internet stream at and participate in the conversation with the hashtag #phlnet2 on Twitter.)

Social media is having an ever-increasing influence on SEO, and this program will help you learn why this is so, and provide tips for how your nonprofit organization or cause can optimize its use of social media to help boost its rankings in search engine results. You’ll hear all about it from Wil Reynolds, a nationally recognized SEO expert and in-demand presenter known for a dynamic and engaging approach. Even if you have knowledge of SEO, you’re sure to learn something new when Wil shares his formidable insights, as well as from the diverse perspectives of fellow attendees.

This presentation will cover a variety of topics to include:

  • Google search pages are changing (again)
  • The impact of video on SEO
  • Structured data and how it can get you more traffic
  • Google+ – is it worth investing time into?
  • Followerwonk / Twitter and finding your target audience

Plus, plenty of opportunity to discuss how these practices can apply to your own situation.
